Marion Harvey was born in Ayr, Scotland in 1886.  She was an accomplished artist based in Glasgow and a regular exhibitor at the R.S.A., the G.I. and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool.  Harvey specialised in the portraiture of dogs and horses
