About Us

About Us

We are a traditional Antiques business based in the heart of scenic Perthshire in Scotland. With over 35 years experience in the world of Art & Antiques our aim is to source and offer for sale a wide selection of quality pieces at affordable prices.  We are committed to providing a broad range of interesting objects for our discerning customers.

Unlike much of the antiques business's of today whose movement is towards increasing specialisation we find ourselves in something of an 'old fashioned' position of being general Dealers.

Our stock therefore covers a wide, eclectic and we hope interesting range of Antiques and Collectables dating from the 17th - 20th Centuries including Period and Decorative Furniture, Metalware incl. Bronzes, Copper, Brass and Fireside Items, Clocks and Mirrors, Silver and Plate, Scottish Pottery and Glass, European Ceramics and Glass, Asian Ceramics and Works of Art, Collectors' Items and Objets d'Art, Vintage Sporting Goods, Toys and Games, Antiquarian and other Books, Pictures incl. Oils Paintings, Watercolours, Sculpture and with a strong emphasis on Prints.

We strive to source and offer items in as original condition as possible.  You will not find items in our Stock Catalogue that have been badly restored or over cleaned, which, in our opinion renders such items of poor investment potential.  However, not all Antiques, have survived the ages in perfect condition and we do purchase items that may require some attention and careful conservation providing they are items of some interest and in respect of Furniture items of good original colour and patination.  We do endeavour to keep whatever restoration or cleaning may be required to an absolute minimum ensuring as much of the original charm of the piece is retained.

Our buying ethos is very simple - we buy things that appeal to us and we very much hope they will appeal to you too!
